Tyre Scrap Analysis
Workshop & Consumables → Tyre Scrap Analysis groups every scrapped tyre by the reason it left service and shows how far the tyres in each group ran — in total and on average — before being scrapped.
Reading the table
| Column | Meaning |

| Total distance | Combined kilometres they ran |
| Avg distance | Mean kilometres per tyre before scrapping |
Scrap reasons: Worn out, Sidewall damage, Puncture, Impact break, Irregular wear, Age, and Retread failure.
The Fleet total row gives the average life across all scrapped tyres — your baseline tyre life figure.
What to look for
- Worn out with a high average distance is the honest end of a tyre's life — that's what you want most scrapping to be.
- Sidewall damage, Impact break, and Puncture with low averages point at road conditions, kerbing, or driver behaviour — money leaving the fleet early.
- Irregular wear usually means alignment or inflation problems — a workshop process issue, not a tyre issue.
- Read alongside Tyre Cost / km: a brand can only be judged fairly once you know whether its tyres wore out or were killed.
