Maintenance Costs
Workshop & Consumables → Maintenance Costs rolls every workshop job card up into a per-vehicle spend report — biggest spender first — split into labour and parts.
Choosing the window
Use the From and To date pickers; the window selects job cards by the date they were opened. Leave both blank for all time.
Reading the table
| Column | Meaning |

| Vehicle | Name, with fleet number and registration beneath |
| Job cards | Job cards opened in the window |
| Labour | Total labour charged across those cards |
| Parts | Total parts cost across those cards |
| Total | Labour + parts |
The Fleet total row sums the whole fleet.
What to look for
- A vehicle whose maintenance spend rivals its earnings is a disposal candidate — compare against Vehicle Profitability.
- High spend with low workload (check Vehicle Utilisation) is the worst combination: a vehicle costing money while standing still.
- Upcoming spend is on the Service Forecast; unresolved faults are on the Defect Backlog.
