EMP201
HR & Payroll → EMP201 is the payroll-tax filing register: every EMP201 return recorded for an employer, with the liabilities each period declared and the pay-run settlements behind them.
Picking the employer
Choose the legal entity in the Employer picker — payroll taxes are a liability of the employing entity.
Reading the table
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Period | The filing period |
| PAYE / UIF / SDL | The declared liabilities |
| ETI | Employment tax incentive offset against them |
| Total | The period's net payable |
| Runs | How many pay runs fed the period |
| Filed | When the return was filed |
Select a filing to drill into its settlements: which pay run settled which liability category, and how much.
Where the figures come from
The liabilities accumulate from posted pay runs — the register records what the payroll actually produced, period by period, rather than a re-computation at filing time. The same posting discipline drives the VAT register on VAT201.
