Vehicle Trackers
Fleet & Tracking → Trackers is the device registry: every physical tracking unit is registered here, given its credentials, and allocated to a vehicle. The system only accepts position reports from devices that are active, provisioned, and allocated — anything else is ignored.
Registering a device
- In Register tracker, enter a Label (1–100 characters — the device serial or your asset tag works well).
- Press Register. The device appears in the registry with status
unprovisioned.
Provisioning — the one-time key
Press Provision on the device's row. FleetOps generates the device's credentials and shows a panel with the Device id and Key (hex).
Copy the key immediately. It is shown exactly once and cannot be retrieved again. It must be loaded onto the physical device together with the device id. If it is lost, press Rotate key to issue a new one — the old key stops working.
Allocating to a vehicle
Choose a vehicle in the row's picker and press Allocate. Selecting — unallocated — detaches the device (for example, when moving it between vehicles). A device only feeds the Live Map while it is allocated.
The registry columns

Disabling and deleting
- Disable stops the system accepting the device's reports without removing it; Enable turns it back on.
- Delete removes the device permanently. Register and provision it afresh if it returns to service.
