Trip Dwell

Borders & Corridors → Trip Dwell is where border crossings are captured and read back per trip: the trip's total dwell, a per-post roll-up, and every individual crossing — with open crossings (truck still at the post) closed off right here.

Picking the trip

Choose the trip in the Trip picker (labelled trip number · status · origin → destination). The capture form and report appear once a trip is selected.

Recording a crossing

In Record a crossing:

• Border post — from the master-data list (add posts on Border Master Data).
• Direction — Inbound or Outbound.
• Arrived — when the truck reached the post.
• Departed (optional) — leave blank if the truck is still at the post; the crossing stays open.
• Notes — optional.

Closing an open crossing

An open crossing shows a date-time picker and a Close button in its Departed column — enter the departure time and press Close. Dwell for that crossing is locked in from arrival to departure.

Reading the report

• Total dwell (completed) — the trip's summed dwell across closed crossings, with an open-crossing count beside it.
• The per-post table rolls up events, completed vs open, and total dwell per post.
• The Crossings table lists each event with direction, arrival, departure, and notes.
